It's our first CR meme. Apps aren't yet open, so this is mostly a place to jam for anybody! If you comment to this meme, you have an invitation. Please use this space to talk about characters you're interested in apping, while I use this space to figure out how big the first round might be.

Please note that you do not have to app whatever characters you mention here, and you are not inextricably tied to whatever vampire abilities you discuss here. You're free to change your mind between here and apping.

The tentative open date is OCT 10, with apps opening OCT 05, so I figure we've all got plenty of time to get our ideas in order before then.

Some spoilers so you have things to plan around:

1. An ancient god has contacted you with terrible purpose.
2. Two pious clerics will aid you with their lives, if necessary. Will you make it necessary? Get to know them in the free demo below.
3. A maze, deep underground. The sun hides from you.
4. Hunger churns. Will you be able to keep your wits about you when prey is finally in view?
5. Feel free to ask for more questions about this below, though I don't want to spoil everything, I do want to give you something to plot around / look forward to.

CHARACTER / FANDOM: Sgt Casey Doherty | OC
VAMP ABILITIES: Coffin sleeper, shark fangs, blood memories
CHARACTER DIRECTION: A late 1800's Irish-American policeman who absolutely always wants to do the right thing and is deeply religious to boot. He has a very cut and dry view of morality, which is of course going to be exciting to unravel.
Definitely dealing with a whole bunch of repressed rage/guilt/fear that will be at war with the new rules of survival-- not a violent person by nature, he has always tried to live his life by the moral code he follows so stringently, but will fuck a person up if pressed. He wants to be as positive and upstanding an influence as possible both to his community and to his teenage son, whom he was raising alone before appearing here. Divorced energy absolutely off the charts.

WANTED CR: Anything and everything forever. I love negative CR as long as we're having fun OOC, and I imagine some of his opinions are going to be controversial among the PC populace. (I also love positive CR but who doesn't)
Also, anyone who wants to come along for the ride of a Lawful Good churchdad having an extremely bad time.

ANYTHING ELSE? I deffo do not want to step on any toes with regards to faith/upbringing/trauma surrounding Christianity and Catholicism in particular, so if this is a point of discomfort with anyone I am glad to accommodate you and change direction.

The religion and organization Amberley belongs to are both modeled after the worst/most Extra parts of the Renaissance/early modern Catholic Church, so let's do this. (I was raised Catholic and ollied out a while ago, so I'm not sensitive about it.)
