It's our first CR meme. Apps aren't yet open, so this is mostly a place to jam for anybody! If you comment to this meme, you have an invitation. Please use this space to talk about characters you're interested in apping, while I use this space to figure out how big the first round might be.

Please note that you do not have to app whatever characters you mention here, and you are not inextricably tied to whatever vampire abilities you discuss here. You're free to change your mind between here and apping.

The tentative open date is OCT 10, with apps opening OCT 05, so I figure we've all got plenty of time to get our ideas in order before then.

Some spoilers so you have things to plan around:

1. An ancient god has contacted you with terrible purpose.
2. Two pious clerics will aid you with their lives, if necessary. Will you make it necessary? Get to know them in the free demo below.
3. A maze, deep underground. The sun hides from you.
4. Hunger churns. Will you be able to keep your wits about you when prey is finally in view?
5. Feel free to ask for more questions about this below, though I don't want to spoil everything, I do want to give you something to plot around / look forward to.

VAMP ABILITIES: Coffin sleeper (interesting challenge), shark fangs (objectively awful and I love it), blood memories (feels like a lot of cool potential hooks here)
CHARACTER DIRECTION: Stella is very cool with killing fascists, less cool with killing other people, will be challenged by being thrown into a setting where it's not immediately clear whether someone is a fascist or not. (Presumably.)
WANTED CR: Would deeply love a) CR where the person decides they're friends and wins her over by pure attrition b) rivals/enemies to respected allies (to friends? idk it's a short game) c) people she's primed to feel protective of d) nearly anything else, hit me; she's a bit prickly but we can work things out or just go with negative CR
ANYTHING ELSE? I'll include a fuller elevator pitch in her app, but basically Stella is coming straight from a near-future dystopia so she's not prepared for vampires but sort of is prepared for everything to be terrible. HMU here or on disco if you want to chat about her in more detail!

Maybe let's force them to work together somehow? I feel like it's too brief a span to budge either of them ideologically, but Stella at least has a practical streak we could work with if you're keen.

Amberley doesn't even know what a "fascist" is, so she won't know to object to the characterization if it comes up. (Also, y'know, if the shoe fits...)

She's also very pragmatic, so she's likely not to care about ideological differences in the short term, as long as she thinks it's not gonna get her a knife between the shoulder blades.

Yes, fully! Also, it seems like you may have it covered elsewhere, but Stella does have medical training, even if she'll abruptly be making do with less equipment than she's used to. She can do some patching as necessary.

No, this could be some interesting negative CR to jump in with, especially because in her world the dominant religious organization in her city is openly collaborating with the government. They're not actual Catholicism but man, a lot of those flavors are going to taste the same.

Delightful. Stella is very good at seeming super steady and reasonable most of the time, with a surprise chaos streak, so really a CR sampler platter for him.
