OPEN CR MEME.
It's our first CR meme. Apps aren't yet open, so this is mostly a place to jam for anybody! If you comment to this meme, you have an invitation. Please use this space to talk about characters you're interested in apping, while I use this space to figure out how big the first round might be.
Please note that you do not have to app whatever characters you mention here, and you are not inextricably tied to whatever vampire abilities you discuss here. You're free to change your mind between here and apping.
The tentative open date is OCT 10, with apps opening OCT 05, so I figure we've all got plenty of time to get our ideas in order before then.

CHARACTER / FANDOM: Der Tod, from the musical Elisabeth!
VAMP ABILITIES:
* Coffin Sleeper - The irony is too damn good. They're mostly going to think it's funny.
* Long Fangs - Honestly, both they and I are aesthetic sorts and I gotta love a classic.
* Blood Memories - Gotta make up for being nerfed from semi-omnipotent somehow, and this will still let them be nosy.
CHARACTER DIRECTION: So the thing about being okay with killing? Der Tod is literally Death. The Reaper themself. Having to do it for survival is going to be very strange (doing ANYTHING for survival is going to be strange), but the idea of ending someone is no bother whatsoever. They will also probably gleefully encourage other people to kill.
Grappling with walking among people, however, in a way more substantial than dancing around people's demises is going to be a culture shock for them. I'm looking forward to the idea of exploring what Death will do when not only stripped of their title/power but also faced with actual consequences to their actions for the first time...ever. They're very, very old, but a bit of a spoiled child in terms of behavior. They don't REALLY know how to be anything more closely resembling human.
Also, vampires are awesome.
WANTED CR: I want Der Tod to cause Problems on Purpose. They are a chaotic little gremlin at heart and have emotions too big to contain them. If they decide they like you, they are possessive and intense.
I want positive CR, negative CR, the WORKS. People who have come close to Death would be fun for them to befriend - or make enemies of. AND FLIRTING. So much flirting.

also: ellie has had a few near-death experiences, but mostly she feels like a death siphon, where everyone around her dies and she's cursed to live on without them. i think having her confront that fear with ACTUAL HERR DEATH would be fun af. looking forward to it!!!
